Please Help somethen really wrong

Well I have a problem which i dont know where to begin @ trouble shooting. When i floor my car it will run fine until it gets around redline in second gear where it gets high pitched and then looses power and makes this poping sound. I have no clue someone help me out please. Feels like bouncing off of rev limiter or something.

SO what would cause my car an auto 4 speed to just start hitting rev limiter out of nowhere like this?

Is the transmission slipping? That could cause it to bounce the rev limiter.

Most likely its a slipping trans like said, or somehow your shiftpoints got out of wack which seems odd considering its electronicly controlled. Could try reseting the computer as a last attempt, just unplug the battery for 30 seconds.

Are you sure its rev limiter? If its not happening at 6000rpm +- 200 rpm. It could be a high rpm miss from the optispark.

The tranny doesnt slip anywhere but there if its slipping. Im gonna try the computer reset thing but this is really weird. When my friend had a slipping tranny his used to go into nuetral when ever it wanted my trans is fine except for this problem im having at high rpm under full acceleration at about redline.
