Unhappy Please help - oil leakage

Hi,
I mounted Powerdyne supercharger on my Camaro 1993 LT-1, supercharger works fine, but now I have the huge problems with oil leakage beetween engine and gearbox, oil is also behind intake manifold on the firewall (wall between engine and cockpit). Can you help me with this problem ? (and of course sorry about my english)

sounds like you have the classic intake manifold oil leak

the intake leaks oil where it is sealed against the block at the back

http://shbox.com/1/oil_pressure_sensor.jpg , it leaks where the orange RTV is in this pic

to fix it you need to remove the intake and you will need new intake gaskets and some RTV

this leak will drip from the sides of the trans and probably from the bellhousing/oil filter area

P.S., how did a fourth gen end up over there?

Re: Please help - oil leakage

Before you crank it back up after you have fixed the leaks, make sure you are not pressurizing the crankcase with boost.

What did you do about your pcv system? It is imperative you disconnect it from the intake tract. At least the hose from the passenger side valve cover to the throttle body.

thats a good question, I didn't even think of that(don't deal with boosted cars much)

Thumbs up Re: Please help - oil leakage

Really thanks for your suggestions, probably I did fault with the PCV because my vent hose is still connected. So supercharger is boosting valve covers with high pressure and it's reason why oil is going thru valve covers seal outside of engine. Really very helpful suggestion.

Re: Please help - oil leakage

Sorry about that man. Hopefully though, it is only your valve cover gaskets, but check it over really good to make sure.

Good luck.
