Please help, I'm lost in this computer controlled stuff.

I have a 1993 Z28 that as I understand is different from every other year. I have installed hooker super comp headers, super flow cat, magnaflow 3" exhaust, moroso air intake(IAT sensor relocated to side of air intake elbow by fender well), 26lb injectors, 52 mm throttle body, jet stage 2 chip, roller rockers(1.52 intake/1.6 exhaust), high voltage coil and 8.5mm wires, 3:42 gears, aluminum driveshaft and 2100 stall converter.
Is there other mods I need to do to get this to run correct?
I've read that when you use roller rockers it sets off the knock sensor which retards the timing. It recommends changing a module but the only listing I can find is for 94-97.
Does my 93 have this?
Would a custom tune chip be much better?
Please, I would appreciate all the knowledge you guys could spare so I could get this running right. It doesn't have any bad problems it just feels like it could be stronger on the bottom end.
It does have one non-consistant problem, sometime the idle just starts surging.
What's that all about?
Thanks!

Your 1993 does not have a replaceable knock module. You can desensitize the circuit with resistors (you can find info on the 'net) or you can have your tune alter the knock detection. However, you should first monitor the car with a scanner to see if you even have a knock problem that needs addressing.

You could benefit more by getting rid of the JET chip and having pcmforless.com, madtuner.com, etc. make you a custom tune. Visit their websites for info.

Since you are new, the best thing I can suggest is to start doing a search on this site. Your questions have been answered before. I am not being short, I am honestly trying to help. As an example, I did a complete rebuild on my own and during that process I hardly asked any questions on this board. Why? Because every time I did a search, the question had been answered like 10 times.

When you get more specific questions, please ask them.

First thing I'd do to get that list of mods running right would be to go back to stock injectors, stock TB, stock chip, and stock coil. Second thing would be to get it on a scanner.

All of the issues you have mentioned should be taken care of with a custom tune burned on a chip. The idle surge may be from the stall, I know mine did that right after I put a TC in it and I couldn't get rid of it until I had the car tuned.
