Please Help! Car Runs Like Crap With A/C On

Well first off its a 94 T/A M/T with 120k, all stock, minus an K/N, with all orignal sensors and opti. The car runs pretty good but when i turn the a/c on i feel a noticable loss in power, the car actually feels like something is holding it back,<----- (best way to describe it). Anyways I was wondering if maybe it could just be the engine isn't running at its best in the first place and when i turn the a/c on I feel it just that much more, or if maybe it could be something else more serious. Like always any help that anybody could give me would be a great help and much appreciated. Thanks in advance to everybody and please help i just want my car to run like it should.

P.S. It runs alot worse when the engine is warmed up ( around 200-210 degrees)
Thanks again
JD

well I'd check to make sure your 02s & other sensors are working properly, see if the CAT is 100% etc... but you have to know that u will feel a very noticible difference with AC on, almost makes u want to turn it off. Best fix for that is to get an underdrive pulley which will make the engine turn the AC much easier & you'll barely feel it, I know cuz I got that & the AC is almost not there, before it was pretty bad especially with cam/heads.

well your car should always feel slower with the ac on because the engine has one more thing draging on the pulley system. But I think at wot the compressor is suposed to disengage to give you your power back.

at WOT it does disengage, but if your cursing underdrive pulleys help a ton.
