Please help with 94z

[ I have a 94z auto, stock and I was told it was out of timing. I have a chilton manual on it and it doesn't tell how to set it. At start up, it runs fine accelerates good but once the engine warms up when accelerating it boggs down. I have to barely give it gas and when it catches up then I can stomp it and it will go. I have changed the distributer, wires, plugs, and fuel filter. I also was told that it could be my fuel pump! Also I changed the oil about 5 months ago and I put 10w40 in it and some of that Lucas oil treatment. Is it that important to put in 5w30 or what do anybody recommend? All advice is greatly appreciated!

Re: Please help with 94z

You posted this in a similar question the other day, and I responded to the "out of time" idea.

You also got three other responses to that thread - did you follow up on any of the suggestions you got there?

Generally, you keep the problem in a single thread, so each person can see what has already been suggested, what you have followed up on to fix the problem, etc. Making multiple posts on the same problem generally does not get good results.

In one of your earlier posts, you complained that we seemed to have some kind of a "club" since no one responded to your posts. Getting help requires that you learn how to post, and to demonstrate that you are reading the responses and trying out the suggestions.

I posted several paragraphs explaining the importance of using a "signature", picking a specific topic, not something generic like "help".... it doesn't appear you have taken any of those suggestions either.
