plastic panel in front of radiator

plastic panel in front of radiator and condinser do we really need it on the car
im also thinking of using another type of cooling fan set up any suggestions.

All the plastic panels surrounding the radiator are there to funnel air where it needs to go (through the radiator). The stock fans work very well. Why change them?

weight and space, plus more airflow. probably about the same price as buying a new stock fan setup also (if broken)...

did i just answer a question for shoebox (meessing with ya Rob, i commend you for providing links all the time )

Without the big plastic baffle, running from the front edge of the under-bumper opening, to the top of the radiator, the air flow isn't going to be directed through the raditor. The air will enter the under-bumper opening, and can bypass around the sides of the fenders and over the radiator, reducing air flow, reducing cooling performance. There are better ways to save weight.
