Piston rings for forced induction

I couldn't find a great answer in all my searching, so I reached out to total seal for their options. They recommended two options.
PART# DESCRIPTION QTY PRICE EXTENSION
CS3690GP 35 4.030+5 1/16 1/16 3/16 8CYL 1 $461.33 $461.33 (https://www.jegs.com/i/Total-Seal/90...GP-35/10002/-1)
MS3690GP 35 4.030+5 1/16 1/16 3/16 8CYL 1 $532.70 $532.70 (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tsr-ms3690-35)

As you can see, the cheaper option is $461, and the gapless more expensive option is $532. I thought that this was really high, but I want to ensure that I am using the appropriate piston ring. These appear to be steel.

Is this necessary, or would I be ok with a ductile iron plasma moly top ring? This ring here from Mahle is what I was planning on running, due to the cost of the Total seal rings.

I am anticipating around 600-650 rwhp with a forged 383 and D1SC.

I'm using Sealed power Hellfire rings. These are for forced induction.

Yeah, I just wanted to see what type of material you had. The only hellfire rings on Summit are Iron, which I would imagine aren't as good as the ductile iron with plasma moly from Mahle.

I could be overthinking it, but I want to ensure the rings I get will hold up, as I do not want for something like that to fail. If I must spend the $500, I will, but I don't want to if I do not need to.
