Pictures inside.... Help me ID this BBK throttle body

I was told this is a 52mm BBK throttle body for an LT1. There is two different part numbers for a 52mm BBK throttle body though. Which one is this? Does it have something to do with the transmission and the kick-down cable? Any idea which year LT1 this will work with? Thanks guys!

From my memory, the difference is for the kickdown cable. '93s didn't have the 4L60"E" Simply the 700R4 or 4L60. That TB pictured does not have kickdown capability, and should work great on all 4L60E trannies.

MadMav, are you sure. It appears to have the kickdown for the 700R4 to me.

LT1 S10, if it has the kicdown spot for the 700R4(it looks like it does to me) then it is for a 93, but if it doesnt it is for a 94-97.

Ill take a side view picture tomarrow and post it for you guys.

So if it DOES have the kickdown, then it will work with the 700R4, 4L60, and the 4L60E.

If it does NOT have the kickdown, it will only work with the 4L60E or a manual trans.

Is this right?

There are only two connection points on that TB. One is for throttle and one is for cruise control. I don't see a kickdown one on there.

Not sure if a TB with kick down will work on a 4L60E. I don't see why not though.

The throttle cable does not attach to one of those little arms that stick out. It goes inside the linkage arm. The bottom thing should be the cruise cable connector and the upper one could be the kick-down.

Damn....Your right. Sorry guys. I forgot that. Been over here to long without seeing my ride. On a side note, It should work on a 4L60E just fine.

Yes, there is a slot inside the linkage arm where the throttle cable goes. There is also 2 "buttons" that are on the side of the linkage arm where a cable would "snap" on to.

So what you are saying is that the throttle goes in the slot in the linkage arm, the cruise control would go to the bottom "button", and the kickdown would go to the top "button". Is this correct?

So if it does have kick-down capability, this means it will work with a 700R4, 4L60 and the
4L60-E?

MadMav, just noticed you're stationed at Osan AB--I was there for a bit in '99. Not too many Impalas over there huh?
