(Pics)What is this, and whats it supposed to be hooked up to??

Its on the drivers side, just below the abs brick
heres some pics, is it supposed to be hooked up or what?

That looks like the vacuum line that goes into the intake manifold near the PCV valve. Does it go that far or does it look like it belongs in the area where it is.

theres no way it would reach

it can only move about 3 inches in either direction.

im stumped i need to know where it goes, ive looked on shoebox for diagrams and everything

I would like to see that diagram as well. I may or may not have this hooked up correctly on my car. I know in my car there is some type of selenoid near my coil. So I believe that vacuum hose is some how connected to that selenoid, the air pump, and the intake manifold, but i don't know in what configuration. Good luck, keep us posted.

hmm, so it hooks up to the air pump? or is it supposed to just chill there?

if it does hook up to the pump that might explain my ses secondary air injection system code

Umm, the pictures says it goes to the bleed valve. What am I missing?

upon further inspection the bleed valve only has 2 male connectors which are both being used

on of the connections runs right to that thing that hangs down.

it cant connect to the bleed valve, since it already is.

From the picture it appears that the little connector, at the end of the vacuum hose that is just hanging there, that kinda looks like an "F" is not supposed to be there. It should be hooked up to your intake manifold. With one line going to the egr solenoid and one line going to the vacuum solenoid near the air pump. Hope I'm right and that helps.

well it cant reach that far
im stumped, could someone take a picture of that area on there 96 97 car so i can compare?
