I am checking for why my car wont start... and I think this may be the culprit..

the second pic is what I think the problem is.... my IAC is very dirty w/ lots of crap on it.... what should I clean this and the TPS off w/?? thanks for any suggestions, after this I am changing plugs/wires if this doesnt help...

 

Mine was the same and dirty. I used throttle body cleaner thats safe for electronics. A toothbrush and Q tips to get the hard to reach areas. DO not push in the IAC pintle. I cleaned mine up and helped with the idle and hesitation.
