Ensuring Both tires spin during burnout?
Ensuring Both tires spin during burnout?
I pulled a 1 legger brakestand the other night, and im worried. Is there a method to ensure both tires spin during a burnout? Like start out at a low RPM or something? Im going to the track Sunday and Im concerned about my rear's integrity. Is this a sign of the clutches in the rear wearing out, or is this common from time to time? Usually my posi works fine. Any info appreciated.
SLP sells a take out differential for around $100. The dealership wanted $400+ for the same item. I paid another $100 to have it installed. Its not something I would do unless you know about setting up a rear end properly. My car had the same problem, and i bet that as time goes on your rear will get worse. On the bright side, It's cheaper to only replace 1 tire insted of 2
