Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

I "ordered" mine almost a month ago, sent e-mails, PM's, and i even got a damned answering machine when i tried to call. I'm cancelling my "order" and going someplace else, this is rediculous.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

I thought I'de throw this in, back when I had elite wires, I was driving home, and it just rained out. I live in south florida, so in the winter we can go over a month without any real rain, so my car was driving fine up until then. So as I'm leaving my friends house my car starts to miss. I was going to go to the movies, but decided to drive my car off at home first since it was missing. I only live ~3-4 miles away at the least, but the miss got so bad, the car would shut off, and finally it wouldnt start again. So I had to push my car the last 1/2 mile to my house because the wires were arcing so much because they got wet I guess.

I have not had good luck with taylors. Someone needs to come out with A MSD custom length set.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

The first set of wires i had were taylors, and i had great luck with them until i had one too close to the primary tube and it got burned through. I when i took it off to replace it, a good 1.5 inches was white, brittle and cracked through. The other wires i used to replace it died ,and when i took that off there was only a hairline crack... i agree though, the best i've had were msd.

Good luck recieving them!! I still have not recieved mine and I ordered back in February. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

Yup, the Taylors are [edit]. And Yup, they are usually about a year old when they turn to [edit]. I have been through alot of wires including MSD, which are also [edit], the MSDs will burn if even remotely close to the header.

I have had cut to length Accel 300+ 8.8s for 3 years now with no problems at all.

As far as the OTVC looms, just get the "Made for You" looms from Summit.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

If you guys are having problems burning taylors, you have them too close to the headers. Ive had them on my Z for over a year, and on my tahoe for over 3 years without a problem!!!
