Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

I did a search for the elitesparkplug wire OVC kit. the driver side is obviously the easy side. I am wanting to know the best way to route the passenger side wires. I looked on their website and I can see that they go behind the alternator, then goes down to the right but can't see what they go behind. Is it the powersteering pump, or the tensioner. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Jason

I wouldn't buy from elite. Do a search and you will see the problems people have had with their product and service. I believe this also caused them to no longer be a sponsor.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

I bought from them over a year ago, and can say nothing but good things about them. Although I have heard their reputation has gone down hill. They were worth every penny for me ...

Mine go under the alternator, and then behind the powersteering pump. The actual pulley for the pump is kind of close to the wires. They fit in a gap behind the accessory bracket and the pump. You'll see once you try tp fit them in there. It's easier than it looks ... Really.

Mine would arc like crazy in the rain, causing my car to stall and not be able to re-fire. I thought it was the opti, but it turned out to be the wires... I put on MSD's now with no complaints. And I routed them under the alternator btw. GL with the elite wires though, mabey you will get one of the few sets that doesnt arc...

If you ever get them at all...I am in almost my fourth month and still waiting. Than again I am also in a Paypal dispute and a Bank dispute to hopefully solve this issue.

I'd get new wires unless you want to do them again.

Under the alternator and crap is a bad place to route IMO. Too big a bundle of wires and too close to the pulley. Here's a pic of my routing with the engine out of the car, they're about an inch away from the headers and zip tied out of the way after that pic.

Never heard back from them, went with Taylor instead (from Thunderracing)

These wires solved my rough idle problems and they look awesome!
I ran them under the alternator and behind the pulley, I really wish I hadn't.
It makes me nervous. I'll probably rerun them when I do my heads/cam next weekend.

Javier, I bet the wires are much easier to run without the frame and body in your way LOL

They are much easier to run that way for sure.. sitting on a rolling chair next to the engine on a stand lol. But this is the way they should be routed IMO, looks alot less cluttered near the opti too

Wow, those look close to the header. People who have had them spark, what was your spark plug gap and did you use di electric grease on the connectors?

The car had a set of MSD wires on it and they arced, but then closed the gap to .035 and it took care of it. The guy that owns the car had bought a set of the elitesparkplugs wires a while back and since the MSD's have a few burn marks on them from the headers, we decided to put the elites' on. He got the wires with the head sheilding over it.

They're not, it's well over an inch away. Bad angle on the pic. I can take a topside pic to show.

Re: Pics of elitesparkplugs OVC wires

I bought the elite ones about 6 months ago, only problem I had was with finding out about my order. I ended up waiting about two extra weeks. Since i've had them i've been happy...

I ended up routing mine with zip ties because I needed them in right away and I couldn't find any brackets within the area to buy. Mine are running out away from the motor zip tied to things like the AC recharge line and then down behind the alternator through the stock routing.(making sure to tuck them nicely away from that belt)

Good luck with whatever you do.
