pcv for valve covers question....

Hey i got a few questions. Just got a set of magnesium valve covers for my lt1 in my s10 and was curious about the pcv. Anyone know what type of grommet i need for it size wise?

Also are valve covers side specific as in there is a drivers side and a passenger side VC? Thanks guys!

The PCV valve doesn't mount in the valve cover. If pushes in to a grommet on the driver's side of the intake manifold.

What does attach to the back end of the passenger side valve cover is a small plastic elbow, that connects to the air supply line from the side of the throttle body. That is air entering the engine, to be pulled through the crankcase and the lifter valley, and through the metal pan on the bottom of the intake manifold to the PCV valve.

The driver's side cover has no connections. The passenger side cover has the oil fill pipe hole and the grommet for the air supply line. You can put the fill tube on either side, and put the air supply line in either cover, if your magnesium covers have different connections.
