PCMforless or Ed Wright

I have an Ed Wright program right now. I havent had it dynoed but with what I have done to the car I think that it should be a lil bit stronger. Do you think that I could get a better tune with PCMforless

What year is your car? I basically have the same mods as you, with tuning from pcm4less, and it was totally off. They suggested I got with Ed Wright, but for the price, I said the heck with it, I have everything I need to tune a chip, and will start this week end.

What are you running in the 1/4?

Many would say otherwise, but Ed Wright would probably the best tuner outthere. He is or was an actual GM engineer. He does part throttle tuning as well.

Good Luck.

6 of ...however Brian may be less expensive and I don't know if Ed still does this, but I believe he used to lock certain codes and if you have to have emissions testing you might have problems because they can't read it out.

PCMforless will definately be cheaper.
I have not had any work done by bryan so I can,t say whether he is good or bad.
I have an Ed Wright tune in the car now and its still working pretty good, I have some new mods so I need to go down and have him dyno tune it.
I am fairly sure if you give PCMforless all the pertinent data on your combination they will be able to give you a decent program.

Ed did my first program for my cam. I opted to have it reprogrammed by Brian (when I had my 4.10s put in for the speedometer change)because it was less expensive for re-programs in the future and because I needed to have Ed's program unlocked so I could pass emissions. Brian doesn't lock'em.

Brian said Ed's A/F was ok and just smoothed out my idle mixture which was nice.
