Wink PCMforless?

I'm thinking I NEED to get my PCM tuned. How much did it cost?

Reprogram, $, core charge, $, get SOME of the core charge back --$

What was the final tally after all is said and done?

Just go to www.pcmforless.com and get the info you need. I got the pcmforless tuning and had them do the OBDI conversion but you will have no need for that.

i paid 100 for the tuned PCM, with 60 days free reprogramming.
i paid another 8 or 9 or so for shipping
and then the 125 core charge

The PCM should be here tomorrow, and i'll throw it in on saturday and cruise, i plan to post the results.

I'm expecting the car to run a lot better (see times in sig)

unfortunately yes. Something is obviously wrong with the car, which is what we are still trying to diagnose.

Many ppl i have talked to believe its my ****ty programming i have now. hopefully PCMforless will solve some problems. If not i'm gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to a dyno.

With the mods in my sig. before tunning I could only run a 13.53 @103. After Bryans tunning, addition of the lt4 km, and a 160 degree stat I went 13.16@107 the same day I installed the computer. The car ran a ton better, was a night and day difference, not to mention better mpg.

I noticed a big difference with my pcmforless tuning. Bryan did a great job.

Wheelman, with just your bolt ons you should be running better than a 13.7. Most people run the hotcam without tuning and get faster times. You definately need to get that thing looked at. Good luck!

Obviously

The car is a POS and is getting on my nerves. The car felt like it gained more from the Fning Catback than the Cam, Headers, and Gear. Hopefully the only problem is that my current tuner is a complete ****head. If it's more than a tuning issue, i'm sure i'll have to be cranking out the $$$$$$$$.

I'm being optomistic right now and hoping that Brians programming can shave a second and I'll be where i WANT to be and where I SHOULD be.

I ordered the PCM last Sunday and it isn't here yet. Should it take this long???

i better have it before thursday, cuz that's my next track event

Two thumbs up for Bryan. Couldn't ask for better customer service or better tuning. He is the man!

Well, it depends on how many pcm's he had in front of you. I woul think that sometimes he may be waiting of pcm's to be returned for the core charge so that he can hook other people up. Where else would he get pcm's to send everyone if they didnt send their old ones in for the new ones? Unless he's going to the junk yard for pcms. Just a thought.

I know when I got mine from him it took about 2 weeks to get it back. I actually called and spoke with him to see what the deal was.

Instead of paying the core charge, I just bought another PCM, and had it sent to me programmed.

Result = 0 down time
