Well I'd say subframes are definetely the first suspension mod I'd do on an F-body, but whether it will improve cornering or not, I'm not sure. Probably some springs and shocks would be better for that.

Better tires are the most effective change, but most people don't think of these as "mod" and the amount of improvement will depend on what you already have. Better springs are the single best suspension "mod" in the usual sense. Either Eibach "Pro" if you want a lower ride height or 1LE if you want stock ride height.

Better shocks to go with the springs are a big help.

For the best improvemnt in this category, for the least amount of money would be sway bars. Go talk to the guys in the AutoX section about which combo would work best for you.

I ordered a set of Double Diamond SFCs from Darren at info@sybersport.ca and they were by far the best suspension mod I've done. Also got them for $185 u.s. INCLUDING shipping.

FWIW, Strano told me if he was limited to a single suspension mod, it'd be a good set of shocks (Koni adj up front, Bilstien's out back).

This should get you started

Subframe connectors
Strut tower brace
Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks
Bigger Sway bars (Either BMR or Spohn)

I have pretty much all the suspension mods that have been listed except for the subframe connectors. The car handles and rides awesome, but when you hit a bump its got its got a few rattles. I think SFC's will help with this and stiffen it up for the track, so that is my next mod.
