What signs are present when the VATS is enacted? Besides the obvious that the car won't run. Make a long story short-I am trying to use a PCM from my buddys 94 Formula (I have a 94 Trans Am GT). The aftermarket tune is loading fine, it just has a SES light that flashes rapidly and the car starts then dies. The programming is fine and we are loading just as we did last year, which turned out fine. Car volts are at 14 and we tried the DOS and winflash versions both. We have not tried again with my original PCM, the other one was socketed first. Is there a VATS module that has to match VIN numbers maybe? Just a shot in the dark, but worth asking.
