PCM for less options....

Got a 97ZA4 that I'm buildin a 383 for. Gonna get the PCM for less OBD1 Conversion.

This is what I'm runnin....

LT4 Hot Cam
1.6 rockers
SLP headers
52mm TB
Port and Polished heads
2600 stall with shift kit and Beast plate
30# injectors

There are a lot of options on the order form ....... I was wondering what I should get. I need some info. Like...

1. Do I want power programming? Yes I do
2. Do I want the top speed limiter removed? I dont think I have one already took it 155.
3. Do I want firmer shifts? Got a shift kit already????
4. Do I want the CAGS (skipshift) removed? I got a shift kit in the tranny....Don't know.
5. Do I want the air pump disabled? No clue
6. EGR removed? Still have it
7. VATS removed? What the hell is that

HELP ME OUT GUYS PLEASE. THANKS

1. yes
2. Sure why not
3. If you want hard shifts select this option. But if this is a daily driver and the tranny has a shift kit in it already select no to this option unless you like rock hard shifts.
4. CAGS are for M6 cars only
5. If you have cats and the pump still works keep it. No cats = no need for air pump.
6. Keep it for now. You can block it off later if you need to
7. Vats. Keep it.

A 97 car has a limiter at 160 MPH, however, the Z-rated 94-95 programs (which are used by default by tuners) are limited to 255 MPH, so you really shouldn't worry about that.
I wouldn't add more firmness with a shift kit. Everything else looks good.

Keith,
not sure if you asked me, but I'm pretty sure I set it to 255 on yours.

Thanks for the little bit of mind ease... hehe

Would I have any advantage of going over to OBD1 ??

with my setup...

I'm planning on running a supercharger at the lowest boost on stock block....
