I currently have the Jet Stage 1 chip and ive heard that it might be doing more bad than good for my car. I have a 95' Z28 with the mods in my sig. I would like to replace the Jet chip with something that will give me a better tune. I plan on modding the car further in the future so i was thinking about getting one of the setups that would allow me to tune the car via computer. What setup would you guys recommend? LT1-edit? Tunercat? Are there any other PCM editors around? What would be the best choice price wise? Thanks.

Also, ive been getting horrible gas milage (somewhere around 8-12mpg) and im assuming the Jet chip could be the cause?

 

LT1_edit and Tunercat are about the only options for tuning software (Tunercat being the cheaper and not locked to one PCM).
