PBR calipers, C5,LS1 calipers

Question PBR calipers, C5,LS1 calipers

Are these all the same? Can LS1 calipers be modified to handle 13" rotors?
I just don't know if I have PBR calipers because I can't seem to find info about the specific application.

LS1 calipers are gravity cast aluminum, where the C5 calipers are pressure cast. The C5 calipers resist high heat cycling better and are less apt to spread open.

Correct, but there's more

The C5 calipers are stiffer not only because they are pressure cast but because they have additional siffening (sp?) ribs running across them.

The C5 pads are also slightly larger than LS1 pads.
