Which Path to follow? A few grand to spend

Hey guys,

Right now (you can look in my sig) I have boltons, but Im looking for more power like all people on these boards

Now I can get a nice deal of a full STS kit for just under 1600 bucks, or I can go for Heads/Cam.. now I know there is LE Port/Polish, but what other options are there? Should I go FI, keep N/A or Spray 125 shot?

All opinions matter so voice it!

Thanks.

I went the N/A HC route on my Lt1, and if I were to do it all over I would probably stay full bolt-ons while slowly building a big cube LSX engine to transplant in once it is finished. Then you can go all motor, nitrous, or even supercharge that for one insane street/strip Z. It was fun for me slowly building it up from stock, but it is kind of a kick in the chest to go through all that and still be in 11s on motor. I would not mind doing a big cube LSx or turbo LT1 project instead, since the payoff is greater for your efforts.

It really just depends on how fast you want to go, and how much you want to spend.

If you do go FI most people seem against the STS kit, and the claims are it lagging and not getting as high hp per psi that traditional systems put out.

I'm talking about the rear mount STS for stock internal LT1, I think it was 5-7psi... If I were to do Heads/Cam what companies should I look for so I can get quotes. I would be looking around 400rwHP/450rwTQ and then I save up for a new rear end haha
