You can do it - it's tedious but doable. Make sure the alternator is off - I worked from the top and bottom to fish the opti end through there. Make sure everything is tacked back away from the pulleys - I don't have to tell ya it's close. One of my biggest problems was those getting those little bastard looms open - then closed again. Oh yea, other than breaking the nipple off the opti as I was finishing up the coil wire.

that plug wire braket on the passenger side all you have to have is a screw driver to pop it open cant remember if the open end is on bottom or top on that side but it im pretty sure top use a flat screw drver and open it it should then open

no need in cutting it or destroying... and the part on the front you shouldnt have to loosen the power stearing have someone hand the wries down to you from the top while your under the front of the car like someone else said

and with that side its best to just remove one at a time and put each wire back in apropriate spots on brackets

route them another way. i found a way to get them in easily it just takes time. Don't go behind the bracket. I did that once and a pulley ended up rubbing the wire and damaging it. Go behind it.

Everybody should have a set of MAC headers on these cars. Makes a plug/wire change take 30 minutes.

Well I cut the wires and ripped them out which took about 5 minutes

Then I just routed them through the first bracket and just fished them through the the space in there; skipping the second bracket.

Seems to work fine

There is still a ever so slight miss though

I pulled the alt and ps pump on my 96 and the wires went in real quick. No problems yet.
