I have the OTVC wires and clearance is great. I can get to all plugs fairly easy and with a wrench i can tighten all bolts to header with no problems. I am very satisfied with jet-hots.

I thought jet-hot just bought other manufacturers headers and put their coating on them???

You can buy a set of Pacesetters right on their website.

Is there a line of headers that they produce on their own?

We dont run OTVC wires on three sets of pace and one set of hooker, just run the shortest wires possible on the drivers side, run the back two wires threw the motor mount to keep them off the header. On the passenger side run them all threw the ac bracket and the block. The long wires will have extra room , since you ran the shorter one's on the driver side. Zip tie the back two wires (6,8) to the dip stick to keep them off the headers. AND there ya go, no extra money for OTCV wires, or the time to make costom lenght wires.

Jet-Hot does have their own headers. They are similar to the hooker's but better. The exhaust ports are alot nicer and the welds are just right. Also the collectors are very very nice.

Ok, Pacesetter and JetHot both have LT's with emissions hookup and without. Is there any performance advantage to eliminating EGR and AIR?

Also, can you get the JetHot's uncoated?

Zach

Where do you live? AIR and EGR are used for emissions, and while eliminating them doesn't bring any real performance gain, it does clean up the motor a WHOLE LOT and makes it look much cleaner.

I live in Texas, keeping emissions isn't important...but I'm not real sure what all I need to do to eliminate both systems. I don't mind doing it, but if I don't gain any performance I'll probably keep both...to keep the stock appearance.

Do the JetHot and Pacesetters long tubes fit ok with poly motor mounts?

Re: Pacesetter LT's Vs. Hooker LT's

I have Pacesetter LTs and y-pipe and couldn't be happier. They fit great, look great, and provided a noticable increase in power. I have never actually seen dyno comparisons to compare the power increase, but by looking at them it has to be close. As I am sure you have read, some people have mentioned issues fitting their Pacesetter y-pipes. I personally didn't and I dont think you have anything to loose by trying - you could always sell it for about what you bought it for it if doesn't fit well.... or just coax it into fitting (read "bust out the hammer" )
