pacesetter LT clearance with canton fabbed valve covers

Ive got edelbrock shorties right now and while my motor is out i wanna put LTs in there, so im getting the pacesetter LT with no air or egr fittings. I bought canton fabbed aluminum valve covers and the shorties on the driver's side come too high up and towards the motor and would hit the valve covers. Im wondering if the pacesetter LT would hit too since the first tube is kinda up and in. Anyone have any pics of the drivers side pacesetter in the car so i can see? Thanks.

My pacesetter LTs fit fine with my cantons. I have no emissions at all though. I can snap a pic if you want of the drivers side, but my engine bay is a mess

a pic would be great if possible. Do you know if i just left the air pump off and unplugged if it would throw a SES light on? I forgot to get that programmed out when i had it tuned.

Yes, on your car it should throw an SES light. If it is unplugged you might as well just pull the whole thing off. Cleans up the engine bay and is a bit of free weight off the front end. Tomorrow I will try to get some pics for ya of the clearance, there is plenty on all sides. Plugs are a ton easier too w/ the LT's

It probably doesn't matter, but on my Jet Hots, my EGR tube hits the Cantons... I had to bend it to get clearance... firsts okay now.

In OBD-II the PCM cycles the air pump, and looks at the O2 sensors to see if there is a corresponding air flow. If it doesn't see the air flow, its sets a code/SES light. You have to have the codes programmed out.
