Dont underestimate just because of others mistakes. Treat it like his car has the right fuel system and tune. If it is set up right he would have the power to beat you.

Bring your A game an have the bottle full. Spray on him like there's no tommorow. If you kill him that bad, give him a chance on the next run and do it without the juice.

i heard about that new rolling start drag series at the local track, you get up to 30 then they honk the horn 3 times over the loud speaker. crazy stuff, what will they think of next.

I had a P1SC on my car for a while. Its a pretty weak blower. That being said I was still making 500 at the rear wheels.

As far as can you win? It all depends if he can get out of the hole with a good 60 time. Its hard to get blower cars to hook. But when he hits second and third gear he is going to start pulling away. I see heads and cam cars beat blower cars all the time but its usually because they know how to drive better or they are hooking better. Better bring your slicks.

Edit: Oops I see you already raced. He must have something wrong with his car if you beat him on a 30 punch.

the race was kindof unexpected, we where doing a cruise and he pulled along side of me, i heard him like pause next to me so i downshifted, and he took off. he got the jump and i pullede past him prety quick, i was shifting low because im still testing the motor to see if shes gonna hold. i guess im just nervous and i dont wanna blow another motor. ive had very bad luck with the car and motors. but next time ill wrap it out more.

It had alot of HP but was pretty slow in the quarter. I had 500 hp and couldn't get it to hook. The bad thing about blowers is that when the bypass valve closes you have to be Johnny on the spot with the throttle or you will get wheelspin. Just goes to show you "HP ain't worth s*** if you can't make it hook." Since then I've dialed in the suspension with some QA1's, Nitto's, Torque arm, Moser 9" trutrack, and relocation brackets. Oh and I added methanol injection and a bigger blower.

Its extremely fast and hooks now. Should get some times soon.

It sounds like you've got yours setup really well. There is a guy around here who lives in Batavia who was running mid 10's all motor. What rpm are you spinning your motor to get so much Hp out of it?

The time in my sig was the first time out short shifting and leaving really easy.

Should be pretty quick sooner or later.

Peace.
