local kid is starting to run his mouth bad, he has a 94 formula with a 355 and a P1sc,auto, 2400 stall stock heads, GM hotcam, and a few other basic boltons.

i have my 97 SS vert with a 355 10.8:1, 6 speed with the GM847 cam, i also have slight head work with a 5 angle valve job and stainless valves, i also have 4.10 gears and the rest of your basic boltons and other things to support the 355 and cam. my car last time at the track went 13.322@91mph with me letting off (no cage and verts can only go 13.5) i never realy got on it at the track with an astonishing 2.4 60 foot i also have a 150 shot on the car.
i should add this 355 came out of my 95 Z28 and i went 12.7 NA with the cc503 cam and an automatic.
think its even worth racing?

If you can hook it up with some Drag Radials it shouldn't be much of a race. No drag radials and if he knows how to drive at all, you may be watching him take off faster and faster while your still trying to get traction.

 

I bet it would be a close race if you are equally good drivers, but it might take the spray to pull away. That is my guess. If you guys do it, please record it!

At any cost I would spray the **** out of him and make him cry to his mommy that he needs a D1 or better.

 

without some spray he might get you...don't most supercharged cammed lt1's put down mid-400's to the rear? correct me if im wrong...im assuming you probably have around 400 or so to the wheels...throw a 100shot on and embarass him

 

Not even close.

I have seen enough LT1's boosted running 13's@low mph...it is embarassing too. They make the LT1 crowd look really bad.

 

hes running 8psi, and the kid is 15, but his dad is like 50 something and runs his mouth too, so id like to put him down and make some cash, and by the sounds of it ill bump the spray up to a 200 shot motor is built for 400 and i put 350 through it inside my Z if he gets any more cocky ill slap my 28x11.5 ET streets on and my skinnies up front. oh and be assured i will record it!

i dont know if this remembers or not, but he tagged along with us to pinks to watch me race and this is what this motor did when it had a smaller cam and inside my auto.

I agree. Most people just slap it on and don't know the first thing about tuning them. You should make him look real stupid.
