ok whats going on now. i put a new air check valve on the passenger side manifold the light went away no problem, but it came back. it happened as i crested a hill and let off to coast. i was already doing 65 and had been for five minutes. so i checked the codes with the scanner at work and it said 1416 again and 410 now. 410 is air injection system fault. so what is my air pump bad? anyway i cleared the code and it hasnt returned yet and ive been over that same hill again. i figure itll come back in a few days. any ideas though on whats causing it to come back and what needs to be fixed? thanks. My 96 Z28 has a recall for the AIR system. I assume a 96 T/A would have the same recall. Have you had that done?

 

I just bought the car a few weeks ago, so i dont know. i think i heard somethign about this now that i think about it. do you have any more info like what was the recal number or whatever its called. thanks Trey

 

The sticker on my radiator support says "Campaign #99083".
