P0300 everything works fine

my 97 SS keeps throwing the same p0300 code. It seems very random and i cant detect any pinging or rough idle. Car seems healthy(enough to handle most near stock Stangs and imports in my area) and even gets 25-27mpg on the interstate. Gonna finally crawl under it and check all the wires(hopefully a loose plug wire). Plugs and Opit are under 10k and wires have about 30-35k.

Any other suggestions? Maybe run some Seafoam in the tank?

check the wires in the dark and see if they are arching anywhere.

An enhanced OBDII scan tool can help pinpoint where a misfire is occuring. Most of the time. The P0300 can be a tough one to figure out.

Can also be caused by problems with the crank position sensor, driving on extremely rough roads, or an aggressive camshaft. Are you running an aftermarket cam? Signature with "mods" would be helpful.
