Question P0300 code deleted on OBD2 why is this?

I would like to know why I see people having this code deleted. This is a random misfire code. I would like to know if this code shows up because of a bigger camshaft and the lope of the cam is causing the crank sensor to pick this up even if there are no misfires or why have this code deleted.

Are you referring to having the CPS signal deleted when you say code 0300? I havn't heard of anyone deleting that specific code. I removed the CPS sensor reluctor ring and I got a code afterward, it wasn't code 0300 though, it came up as "crank position sensor error" dont remember the exact code but it was in the 0300's. I removed the CPS reluctor to use the Cloyes chain, it didn't allow room for the reluctor ring.
