tried a search, the engine is throwing a P0106 which is something to do with the MAP sensor, car is running really rough at idle when first starting it up, after running for a couple minutes it runs semi better, but is idling at 1100 rpm, when its suppose to be at 900 rpm, should I just go buy a new sensor? or is there something else I can do?

 

You can get a scanner on it and look at live data to see what they sensor is doing.

 

The code sets when the MAP sensor readings start to move around, for no apparent reason. For example, no change in throttle position, no change in RPM, no change in IAC position, etc.

It's fairly common for the MAP sensor harness connector to dry out and crumble, leading to erratic sensor readings. I'd check the harness connector. Watching the readings with a scanner, while wiggling the connector would be a good way to check,
