overheating question

My car is now running and starting to get heat cycled. I've been running into problems and thanks to everyone here, I've been able to fix each of my problems. Well now I have another one so maybe somebody can shed some light on what I've got. The car starts up fine but with in 10 min. it's redlinning on the gauge and my fans won't kick on. Now I already have got all the air out of the system. I bleed the air from both the thermostat pressure valve and the one off the hose to water pump.
I have an electric pump and checked that it was spinning in the right direction; it is. When the car is running and starting to get hot, you can hear this nasty girggling sound coming from the top of the radiator that makes it shake somewhat. I thought it was an air pocket but it's not. I have no idea what's wrong with my car now.
When I was putting the entire cooling system back in, I made sure every hose went where it was suppose to go and even the seals on the back of the cylinder heads where the bolts are for that tube. Somebody please help me!

On another note how would one go about checking the thermostat switch?

Re: overheating question

Connect it to a scanner and see what temp the computer sees. Also verify that it is commanding the fans on when it reaches 226°.
