overheating! friend in need of help

i havent got to check the car out, but its a 93 Z and he is having problems with it overheating. he has the fans on all the time and replaced the thermostat and also says the coolant is flowing ok. I may go by his house sometime this week to check it out so I'd like to know what I should look for or try. So far I've come up with:

- bleed the air out
- drain some out to examine it
- make sure he has enough in there

i think his radiator might be bad, or maybe the waterpump is worn out

Make sure that black plastic air dam under the car is not broken or missing... that will cause over-heating for sure. Also, these cars are bottom feeders... could be a lot of trash/leaves and stuff sucked up around the radiator clogging it.

Best of luck.

How many miles does that 93 have? Does it have the factory cat?
Clogged cats cause overheating as well.
