Over doing Top end?

I am curious if I were to put Del-west Ti valves in my top end if it woul dbe over kill? Would they even work without machine work to the heads?

I believe common practice is to have the valves matched to the head to prevent leaking. When ever you upgrade an item such as valves you should for sure let it be down by a reputable machine shop. Springs and rockers and such can be down by the driveway mechanic, but I would suggest a machine shop for what you're inquiring about. Good Luck.

was just curious as I have seen some set go pretty cheap on ebay with some dyno time on them and some with a couples laps at the track.
