OVC wires on an lt1

I will be ordering an over the valve cover wire kit for the LT1 in a few days, I am undecided on which one to go with.
Which ones look the best, on top or on the side of the valve cover?

I am going to try and find some better examples, but that pic gets the point across.

I tried the side mounts and there were a terrific PITA to deal with and install. Settles for the tops and was a lot happier.

I believe those are taylor 8mm wires. MSD offers theirs in a 8.5mm, would they still fit through those bracket looms?

Does MSD make an OTVC kit, or do you have to buy their bulk wire, boots, etc. and make your own?

MSD has a cut to fit set available. You have to install the plug end and it comes with the crimping tool for a vice. The taylors shown above you also have to cut to fit but install the opti end. I had those before the MSD and they are a royal PITA to get the boots on the wire because they come with 7mm boots for 8mm wire.

Thunder Racing has the best price. I added up all the stuff through Summit and it was like $200. Thunder Racing was like $130 or something.
And they advertise it as a kit, so you know all the stuff works together. Z28Roxy, can you post a pic of how you ran your wires on the passenger side? I noticed they come up inside teh alternator. I ran mine in the stock location behind it. It was a pain in my *******, and the wires are pretty close to the moving belt.
