OVC Plug wires w/ Mac Headers???

Anybody have picures of how this setup works??? I noticed that the tubing on the drivers side sticks WAY up and I won't be able to stuff the #5 wire between the "loopy thing" without burning it. How does it need to be routed with the Mac Headers??? I was thinking about going behind the #7 plug and coming back to hit #5.

Any help on this is appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!

There has got to be somebody in here???

Also, how do you get around that traction control crap that is on the valve covers??? I was thinking about just unplugging the pile of crap and leaving it off and worry about my ABS light that I will get later.

I am also interesting in this. I plan on getting the same headers over the summer so any help in advance would be great.

Dubby,
How was the install of these headers? Any major problems?

Here you go. I just finished swapping my opti and Taylors with OTVC looms and TR55s. I also have MACs like you requested. Couple pics:

Hmmm...my MAC's have the Rams horn design on the drivers side...thats what I was really worried about.

I got the drivers side wires on now...I had to go right by the #7 wire, and follow the heat shield tunnel and come back to get the #5 on without touching the headers. I am impressed with how it looks!!

Thanks

You are having trouble? How so?

It's very very very simple. You won't even need to touch the stock heat shields. Just route them like I did in the pic, and you'll be fine.

The problem is that the 96-97 headers are a different design then that of the 93-95 headers. The 96-97 headers are dual cat headers and to accomadate the 2 cats, the driver side goes up before it goes back down, almost like a impala header. I wish I had a picture that showed this better.

Tubby,
If you could post some pics that would be awesome. Does it look like the drivers side is the harder of the two?

Like I said before, my headers are different than yours are. They come up and curl and don't allow much room. To get around this, I had to pass the #7 plug wire and then come back using the heat shield, and then onto #5. Not to difficult, but it took a while to come up with something creative enough that would work.
