output driver module?

I just had my 95 z28 scanned today and got code 29 which is the odm from what they said. But the other mechanic told me that it was the ignition control module and gave me a diffrent location for it. so where and what is this odm?

Thanks for the help.

Not sure where those people get their info but DTC 29 is for the AIR pump. Check the fuse under the hood.

It is a common problem and there was a recall for most 95-97 models.

Checked the fuse and it was blown. Could anyone tell me what i need to do so i dont have to keep replacing it? And could anyone tell me what the output driver module is?

They probably meant QDM (Quad Driver Module). That only applies to 1993s.

If the fuse keeps blowing, the AIR pump is drawing too much current. It needs to be replaced or have the recall done. You could always just unplug it, too. It won't bother much on a 1995 as long as the fuse is good. If you have emissions testing, then you will need to have it fixed.
