After being asked by many, many customers what is available that's similar to a Hot Cam kit but better, we've decided to offer a cam package that takes the guesswork out of buying a new valvetrain setup. As with all of our packages, you can rest assured that you'll be getting the best possible components at the best price. Unlike the Hot Cam kit, we're going to be offering different cam kits for different setups, so you'll have more options when looking at a new setup.

The kits are compromised of a Comp Cams Xtreme Energy custom ground camshaft, which are among the most powerful cams available for an LT1, our new exclusive valve springs which fit LT1 heads without machining, chromoly retainers, hardened locks, and a set of Comp Cams Pro Magnum full roller rockers. These are the same valve springs that you've been reading about, which are good to .600" lift, fit the stock heads without machining, can handle the steep ramps of the Xtreme Energy grinds, etc. Compared to the LT4 springs included in the Hot Cam kit...well, there is no comparison.

Want even more options? The standard kit comes with self aligning Pro Magnum rocker arms, but you can subsitute guideplates and non-self aligning rockers for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!!

Great prices and combos!!! If I didn't already have a cam and supporting components, I'd be all over it.
Will you all be interested in doing a GP for your Stage 2 heads?
If you all have already done one that I missed...Will you consider doing another one anytime soon?

if so........... im in for a 230/236XH if its the same price as above. but will those springs hold that cam.

i dont see the valve springs on the site. do yall sell just the springs becuase i will need some that will hold the 230/236Xh.

if they are on the site can someone give me a link. or tell me where to find them on the site.

Myself and a couple of friends up here in the Toronto area are looking at installing a cam/1.6rr/springs combo this summer.

I had been convinced that the Hotcam is the best deal... especially since we can get it for a good deal up here with our club dealership discount.

It's often hard to get things shipped from the States without being raped with duty, brokerage and high shipping costs.

But your prices seem very good and may be worth the hassle to get them up here.

So a few questions:

I'm looking for this package to go on a bolt-on car (no head work) with the mods in the sig. Specifically, I was looking at the N224k package.

1. Is it emmissions legal... or would I have to go for the less aggressive Cam.

2. What gains are expected from this package? I realize the quality of the kit is superior to the Hotcam but just wondering what difference in power you would get. (I haven't heard much about the guys who have it so testimonials would be good)

3. What would shipping be to L4L 3L4 area code (or just Toronto, Canada)


Thanks in advance....... if anyone can post their experiences with any of these cams... it would probaly help a lot of guys who may want to know more and may switch from a Hotcam kit to these ones.

how much more power will that first cam make over the hotcam? and will it still pass smog without crazy programing like the hotcam.. i really dont want to get this cam and not be able to pass. thanks

I'd be in for a cam kit, im not really looking for the 1.6 roller rockers though... well .... maybe. Im in Ontario as well.

I really liked the previous deal, for $399 with the XE224/230
