Re: Otvc wires...

I ordered them late on friday, and they told me that they wouldn't get shipped till monday. No big deal. So they shipped on monday, and I got them on friday. So basically 7 days from order to receive, or 4 days from them shipping to receiving them.

The quality of these wires are a lot nicer then the Taylors. I got them with the 1200 degree protection. These wires are awesome.

Elite did say the were out of the shop for a week. Its not a great excuse. I can understand it. But it would have been better if they would have advertised it on their answering machine and web page that they wouldn't be returning phone calls for the time they were gone. This would be gotten rid of confusion.

Yes I do agree our phone service should have reflected such a message. We did make the change but for some reason our automated system went back to the old message and by the time we realized the error we already on our way back from G-9 in GA.
We always have staff in our shipping area to process online orders.

Re: Otvc wires...

A double dab of brake fluid does wonders for boot installs and when through just wipe off the excess.

I just installed mine Saturday after the header install. It wasn't all that bad, I used silicone spray to slide the boots on. Just remember one thing...measure twice, cut once.

Re: Otvc wires...

I ordered a set of custom cut OVC wires from elitesparkplugs.com and a set of Made For You looms. I've already received the looms and I'm just waiting on the wires themselves. The looms are centerbolt valve cover mount, which is of course the top.

Once I have them installed I'll get some pics up.

I am not associated with Elite, but when you get your wires, you will be impressed. You are going to be happy you routed them over the valve covers.

Re: Otvc wires...

I ordered the plugs from this guy last Wed. I had sent in a cancel because I thought I ordered the wrong part, then I double checked it and it was right so they didn't cancel it, so Thursday my mom gets a call about the wires saying they would have shipped out thursday, but he got the order cancelation, so he called to make sure. Well Friday comes and I don't get a confirmation at all, I look in my e-mail Monday and the order has JUST been shipped after 7:00PM. I was quite upset due to the fact I need these wires ASAP because my car is not running. I won't need to worry about any silicone spray or brake fluid due to the fact that these wires are pre cut to fit right?

Hi sorry about the confusion but we received a message from your mother to cancel + an email saying the same thing … then got an email stating not to cancel the order . My rep was confused and did not ship out anything until contact was made with your mother because of two things 1 the phone call about the cancellation 2 alternate shipping address. all said and done i am not sure why you are upset with us about the delay in shipment

Yes these wires are pre-cut .

also i am showing that you should have it on thrusday 6/23/05

Re: Otvc wires...

I'm only upset for the fact I never received a confirmation, everything is cool The only reason for the 2 alternate shipping addresses was the reason my cars wires burnt out when I was in another state No worries, just some confusion.
