Other options for Meziere/CSI pump freeze plug?

I found a crack in the water pump on my engine... which certainly clears up the source of the rust trail down the front of the block. I should have known better than to send down a used pump (it appeared to be in very good condition, but still...) to use on my engine. The problem is that when my Meziere electric pump was installed, the freeze plug was cemented in place.

I've ordered a new pump (housing), and although I'm sure I could probably get a replacement from Meziere, is there a readily available freeze plug size that works for situations like this?

It's a 1-1/8" brass freeze plug.

It's a standard freeze plug you can just get one that measures the same and pound it in with a socket. I have mine out to install my CSI if you really want I can measure the opening.

Cool

I placed a penny on the inside of the pump housing, jb welded on the front and back. Holds well and only cost me 1 cent
