ordering my cam today, which 1?

I'm ordering a package deal that comes with Comp Cams 1.6 Pro Magnum Rocker Arms, Dual Valve Springs, Valve Spring Retainers, Valve Spring Seats, Hardened Pushrods(anything else I should get?). Which cam would work better for my set up and give me more tq/hp

1.Dur@.050 218-230 | Lift .495-.510 | LSA 114
2.Dur@.050 236-242 | Lift .564-.570 | LSA 112
3.Dur@.050 242-248 | Lift .570-.576 | LSA 112

Do you have to pass emissions? If you do, I think option 3 may be a little too big. Personally I would go with the 236-242 because I don't think that the 218-230 will produce enough power because thats basically the hotcam. The only other thing I would suggest is possibly getting a set of Comp R lifters if you have the extra 200 bucks.

I think the xe 224/230 or 230/236 are nice.xe 224/230 is nice on stock heads.

you choices don't make a lot of sense. You have one very small cam and 2 very large ones. What are your goals, driveablity, other mods. I probably really wouldn't go to much bigger than the 230/236 for a daily driver.

id call combination motorsports and tell them your goals and see what they say. if you want to add heads later then you might ask them what cam would go best with a future mod list.

Comp Cams CC305 or CC306 sounds good to me, i dont know the specs though

Those are 3 very different cams.

Do you have headers? None of those cams will work very well without headers, especially the bigger ones!

If I had to choose I would say the smallest one.

Definately do research on all the cams before making a decision.
