Optispark and Spark Plug wiring

i replaced my spark plugs today. i bought ther taylor wires. there were 10 wires in total.. 8 of em are obvaiously for the spark plugs which i hooked up. there were 2 wires that were shorter. one of em i used to replace the wire that goes from the coil to the optispark.. now i dunno where the other one goes. i thought that there were 2 wires going from coil to optispark, but all the pics that i ve seen from the potisparks look like there is only one wire goin there. can someone please tell me what the other wire is for?
Thanx

Just an extra it should have different plug boots on it than the one you used on the coil. My MSD set was like this, one wire extra.

hmm.. thats weird..cuz those 2 wires had different shapes.. one wire had a 90 degree angle boot on one side and a straight one on the other side. (i used that to connect the coil to optispark)
the other one had 2 straight ends. (thats the extra one)
anyone else with feedbacks??
thanx

I think you have your answer. Two different styles of coil wires included. One with a straight boot and another with a right angle boot. The opti end must be straight and with the special terminal end.
