optispark???? need help

ohk my cars opti got wet and then i guess dried out and started it was at the time open headers and i took it to the muffler shop and put a magnaflow cat on it and drove it to my work. the next day it would not start just turned over and was hitting a little bit so i guess the opti got bad again and i changed the plugs and wires and it started but the cat started glowing red and i thought it was clogged up so i cut it off and made it open headers again the car still acts the same it seems to cut out and have now power won't accelerate when i hold the throttle to the floor could the opti going out do this??? i need help plz

Hard to understand with no punctuation other than the "???", but I'll give it a try.

You thought the Opti (went) bad again, but you changed the plugs and wires.... not the Opti? Then it started, but the cat was glowing red. The cat can glow when its burning raw fuel. Do you have a problem with the engine running rich?

made it open headers
Do you mean there is absolutely nothing on your exhaust system, after the header collectors? If so, there's a good chance the backwash is screwing with the O2 sensors, and making it run even richer.

Do you have evidence of misfires? ... at idle? .... at part throttle? .....at WOT?
