Optimum shift point for a stockish LT1

Hey guys. My mods are in the sig, plus some custom tuning (base file by pcmforless, rest by me), what do you think my optimum shift point should be? I have my shift light set at 5400 now, but it seems to pull to 6k, so I was thinking of setting it to 5700. Should I, or is that too high?

LOL...I've got a 6000 RPM chip in my shift lite. COMPLETELY stock LT1. When I tried lower rpm shifts the car slowed down.

Well, that is just it. I set the rev limiter to 6400 RPM, shifted it at 6500 yesterday and rev. limiter never hit. So, I figure the tach is off. Gonna set my shift light to 5800RPM. By the time I see it and react, its at 6k.
