opti/wp install complications
Heres the rundown with my opti install and what is going wrong. Look at it and tell me what you think might be wrong.
Day 1: Did everything in the install but did not align the opti into the correct slot on the cam. Car cranked but did not start
Day 2: Tore it all down again and aligned it correctly. Started it up with everything off and it started fine. Put everything back on and plugged everything back in and started it up and filled it back up with coolant. Ran fine, let it idle for about 10 minutes, filling up the radiator. Smelt burnt coolant but I figured that it was just the coolant that might have gotten on the exhaust manifolds burning off. Drove her for 2 and a half miles and brought her back home to check everything out. Ate supper and went back to the car and it cranked and cranked but didnt start up.
Day 3: Checked the wires into the opti and they are all the way in the sockets, but 2 or so dont click and the piece looks a little bent. I didnt change the electrical harnass because it ran fine with the old one, but i do have a new one. What do you think is wrong with my car?

i wrapped it up in paper towels when i was takin it off. some got on the wires but not on the opti itself. like i said, it started up and i drove it around for a little bit but it just wouldnt start about an hour later.
I need to know at least a list of things to check for tomorrow that might make it not start up, it cranks but it wont start. also, something is drawing power from my battery because after i let it sit for a day i have to jump start it. I found a hose that wasnt connected, it was small, not even 1 cm wide and it had a little hole, just a black tube. i can take a pic if you might need it. i cant think of any hoses that might not make it start but it ran without the hose connected. I looked at shoebox's site and there were a few hoses that looked like it. it looks like the one that goes into the vented opti but i already have the right one in there. Thanks for readin all of this and helpin me out, i dont know what i would do without yall.
I charged it up and tried to crank it over while it was on the charger and it seemed to have enough juice to start up but it didnt... Ill try chargin it up longer and see what happens. If that fixes it ill have to let out a big DOH!
Checked the plug from opti to coil and it is plugged up. everything on the opti is plugged in. battery is in good shape, i tested it with a tester and it was a little weak but my car was cranking and cranking but wouldnt turn over. it has started with less battery than this. anything else that i might need to check?
just got back from a trip and its still sitting here and not workin. I checked and made sure that all the plugs are in. Is there any way that i can check to see if there is actually a spark goin on so i dont have to spend an ungodly amount of money to get it towed and then the mechanic fees. I made sure it was flush when i put it on cuz the first time that was the problem. the water pump hasnt leaked because it was sitting in the garage for 10 days. I'm thinking maybe bad ignition coil or something. would it help if i unplugged everything and plugged it back in? There is still that one little air tube that im not sure where it goes. it is really small and almost looks unimportant. also, after i try to start my car and turn the key off, the fuel pump doesnt make the normal noise that it does i turn it off.
If nobody can solve that problem, is there any way that i can tow the car myself without messing up my ground effects?
I am really desperate because i havent drove it in a long time and i need the speed. lol
