Heard a comment that GM has changed the supplier of the optical pickup unit used inside the OPTI from Mitsui to another firm. As a result, the reliability of the new unit is terrible. Anyone care to add credible information concerning this topic..?

 

The original supplier was Mitsubishi. Mitsui is a in import/export/trading company.
