well is it compatable to use a vented opti rather then a nonvented?

cause the vented one is cheaper isnt it?

is the vented one better?

You have to swap the cam, the timing cover and the opti harness. You will also need the 95-97 vent tubes.

Most will say vented is better, but I've had good and bad luck with both, so I won't say which one is better, but yes, the vented one is cheaper.

I'd just go with a non-vented replacement if I were you.

It's a pain to do the non to vented swap, but in addition to the opti being vented, you also get the freedom to run a Cloyes or a LT4 Extreme Duty timing set.
