the opti only goes on one way right? so there is no chance of screwing up the firing order right?

Ok When installing the opti. make sure the pin is lined up correctly. I have had to reinstall 2 opti for different people because of them installing them a tooth off. IT CAN BE INSTALLED A TOOTH OR 2 OFF. Gm stamped these with one tooth larger then the rest so it was only supposed to be installed one way but the stampings arent the best and it can be put on in a different spot. When I fixed the other two I took a thin line marker and marked the groove that it was suppose to be in and made sure it lined up when I installed them/

I wanted to make sure because it took me an hour to pull everything off and I just would hate to put it back together and then have to take it off again!!! plus I could not get the balancer off at first and the opti was loose and I moved the balancer when the opti wasn't flush so I was scared that it would be screwed up

It took me over 30 minutes just to line the teeth up on mine. It would only go on one way, not to say it can't be done wrong. All in all it was a fairly easy thing to do, especially since I let it take over a week (no reason to rush) . Very important to take all the time you need.

Just finished putting my Opti on and unless you force the shaft in it will only go 1 way. I also have a 94 and vented it myself which I highly recomend after pulling the non-vented opti off my last car it was filled with rust, when I pulled the DIY vented opti off this car it was like brand new on the inside, No rust.

I agree with venting it yourself. I really regret not doing it but I just wanted to get the car together.
