some how the person who was going to attempt to build my engine manage to loose the splined shaft that drives the opti off the cam gear. is there any where i can buy one of these and not have to get a new opti since the one i have is only a couple months old

 

Maybe someone has a spare sitting around. I have never seen a separate part number for the shaft.

Surely someone will have an old opti, or shaft, they would be willing to give you. I have one I would give you, but it's 500 miles away.

There are people here who have replace the unvented Opti 5 or more times..... they should have a pile of them.
