Opti Got A Tad Wet

There were tiny drips of coolant from a hose by the TB on my new motor, drove it like this for probably 2-1/2 days, sometimes misfired, even backfired under load, during/before downshifting. It was also leaking onto my belt causing a killer squeak on startup. Just got it fixed by the engine builder, missed on the way home. Obviously it's not completely dry yet but did this cause any permanent damage? I thought that the optispark was a little more resilient to moisture than many would have you believe, am I wrong? Should I be worried?

technically there is no way for water/coolant to get in there, they are sealed. i would think you may have gotten the wires wet and that is your problem. just run it and see if it clears up

What dangalla said. I think more people experience wet and or worn wires more often than wet optis.
